Lamias, and The Wrath of the Avatars.

I guess today has been a mixed bag as well. Work in the morning, which was ok I guess... The other person who was supposed to work with me called-in, and I was left doing all the work by myself. Good thing though, I still finished right on time :D.

Before I came home I bought some forks and batteries \o/.

Anyways got home, and Ste asked me to help him with his ToAU fight against the Lamias. I said ok, and headed out there. Again was pretty straight-forward, except I forgot that the Lamia had an en-poison effect that does like 100 a tick. So yeah I was freaking out when my HP started to drop. But yeah we did ok and won after killing 3 of them.





After that just waited for Dynamis-Windurst. Was hoping for BLM hands to complete the set, but alas it wasn't to be. I did take some good screenshots though :D.









Yeah... was a horrible run. Hopefully will be better next time ^^;

Vacation to the Bahamuts, "Sup Brahhhhh"

OMG, thank goodness its Friday. A long week is finally over, ugh. Well anyway today was rather uneventful, just sat in Whitegate all day, surfed teh interwebs, and generally did nothing at all until later tonight.

First thing on the list was helping Roonwit with her Bahamut V1 fight. Well I saw them shouting at about 2 o'clock my time and they said they'd start at 9 o'clock GMT which was in about an hour. So I was like "oh cool this won't take long at all." Man I couldn't have been more wrong. About 2 hours later, they're still trying to fill up the alliance, which I personally thought was overkill. I mean, when Ste and I did it, we barely had 9 people, only about 3-4 being DD, and still beat it with time to spare. This one guy kept insisting that anything other than a full 18 man zerg was doomed to fail... I was like o.o;.







I also talked to a new person on Skype. His in-game name will remain a secret, but I'll just say he scares me. I don't think Ste liked him either o.o;. We all got there eventually and went into the fight. Bards 2hr'd buffed us up we ran in and started to pound him hard. I started up the Chainspell Gun and launched a volley of Stun Missiles. Bahamut went down like a wimp, only getting off one flare. I didn't have a chance to take any epic screenshots though, so you'll just have to use your imagination...

Next on the order of business! An exciting fight against the Arch'duke himself CamelKnot. As we were waiting for people to gather, I managed to find and kill both Hippolytos, and Enkelados, but no drop between the two of them :(




We ventured furthur up and started to kill some blue gigas. I feel sorry for them they look so emo (//.-). Anyway, we managed to get both a Hoary Battle Horn, and a Moldy Buckler rather quickly and decided to pop both Pallas and Alkyoneus. Got both down relatively easily but...





/sigh.... Treasure Hound is uselesssssss. But we trekked on and wololo'd into the Stellar Fulcrum where much to our dismay/anticipation, Dearthsaber, another patron of The Dragon's Tear logged into the game. He also needed the fight and so we decided to wait on him. Well guess what Dearth did? He went AFK. So after awhile we just said screw it and went into the Battlefield against CamelKnot.

Duuuuude, You turned me black braaaaahhh, I'm totally freaking out maaaaaan.

Well that fight went down well too, cept at one point I took like a 900 Light Blade to the face XD

Onwards and upwards I guess :). Well at work things are starting to change, we just had one of our co-workers just up and quit on us. And they're wanting me to train on cashier... :(. But it can't be that bad, I can't complain about more money I guess lol.

Oh, and thanks Shawn for your present^^, I keep him right next to the fireplace to keep him warm :D.

Well its happened. Poop has hit the fan, I repeat. Poop has hit the fan. Ste, Jimma, and Atlanray are at odd against one another. Things have been said, and toes have been stepped 0n. It seems this is the end of the The Shes Fighting Brigade. I only wish it could be different. I wish we could all be friends, and talk about wololo, and the shes, and ILU, and A CURSE!!, but it seems it can't be so. I will remain unloyal to anyside I guess, a mercenary of the shadows, a nuetral force in a world bent on destruction. I will do things when they benefit me, and will try not to favor any side in this conflict. I can't say I expected it to evolve into this, one thing lead to another, and before I knew it, heads were rolling faster than bowling balls. I really, really hate this. :(

Yesterday was a mixed bag I guess you could say. I didn't go to Limbus and managed to miss a super fun Ultima (as described by Ty). Instead I logged onto my mule and decided to mess with Ste's linkshell "The Dragons Tear". I told everyone I was new to the game, that I was crippled (Yes, I'm going to hell, I know), and generally said retarded things. A patron of the linkshell Hawksfire offered to help me un-noob my mule (He didn't know it was me). When he arrived he was generally baffled that I had no RSE or weapon. When he asked me, I simply replied, "Oh I dropped them by the fountain, I'll pick them up later ^^". Oh boy, what a time we had. I purposely made it hard for him when he decided to powerlevel me. I would keep running in front of Yagudo's and dying; forcing him to raise me. Then I just told him I had to go and that I would be on tomorrow, and logged back into Allyie.

After that, I went to go help Shawn, his friend Raziela, and Jimma skill up in the Boyahda Tree. I got to come RDM/PLD and blood tank the crabs :). I love to do that. That was pretty uneventful. After that I did a campaign battle and called it a night.

This morning at work was ok I guess. 1700~ piece truck, with about 3 call-ins. I stocked seasonal as always. Got about 3 pallets worth of Christmas trees in today. God, I hate Christmas already. So many little ornaments in boxes, you have to cut open, unwrap, take apart and put up individually on the peg. Ugh! It takes forever! Anyways, we finished around 10ish.



Got home and found Shawn with Ty doing his last ACP battle, they didn't win though :(. Unfortunately Shawn had to leave for work, so they asked me to come along RDM/DRK to stun and stuff.




Things were going well, hitting every -ga III with an awesome stun. But it wasn't to be... we hit the 20% mark and poop hit the fan.



We actually managed to get it to 2% before charms and Seed of Judgement just got the best of us... oh well better luck next time :(.

The Return of a Legend....... and Anticans!!!

The time has come, our friend has returned. His epic journey across the four corners of the Earth, that spanned 4 days, is at a close. He has returned to open arms, and mouths spewing dramas. Our hearts are warmed and our eyes shine with tears of jubilation.

TYRANNOSAURUS-TY HATH RETURNED!!!

Ty and Shawn immediately threw off their pants and proceeded to touch each others knees. The sight of knees were too much for Jimma so he pulled out his axes and maimed a rarab. But the mood soon grew dark, the enigmatic Ste declared that there was much business to attend to. Firstly, the matter of our Nyzul Troupe, it was to be decided whether we stayed with the SB or broke apart and found one ourselves. The council agreed that this was a necessary change and sacraficed a goat to feed to Bacchus in approval.

Later that night I went to go help Brittia and Dearthsaber kick some antican arse inside a sand hole. I got sand EVERYWHERE! So much sand, sand in my eyes, sand in my ears, sand in my sandwiches; It was horrible. But to add to the horribleness, Dearth had forgotten to get one of his fragments >:(. FORTUNATELY, it was the earth fragment which was pretty much where we were. After a 5-million year wait, we were ready to rock.

The fight was rather uninteresting, just usual punch and rape operation. They went down without a fuss, but Dearthsaber ate an Eagle Eye Shot to the face was instantly incinerated. He will be missed.

Heyas, this blog is actually about last night... Sky finished a little late and I needed to get some sleep for work in the morning. Anyways, oh boy, what a run last night. ^^;

So we started out with an early Despot, got him to pop but was a messy fight o.o;. Lotsa deaths but we managed to kill and get another Gem of the West. :D

Unfortunately, Roonwit and Jooppi could not attend the run last night, and neither could Atlanray. That means we were down 2 whm's and a thf. Yeah it wasn't looking good o.o;. BUT thanks to Ste's wit and manly charisma, he rallied together more troops and headed for Byakko!



Yeah... That didn't go to well :(. Was discouraging, but we kept our heads up high, and decided to try for a Suzaku, which went 10x better (cept for an unlucky timing with its 2hr). We got something like a Suzaku's Sune-ate and A-legs, don't really remember well.

After having another pld join us we decided we'd try to do Byakko again. WHY IS IT SOMEONE ALWAYS AGRO'S ON THE WAY TO BYAKKO!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR WHY CANT THEY BRING SUPPLIES AND JUST BE AWARE THAT EVERYTHING IN SKY MAGIC AGRO'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So after about 30 minutes we all finally made it to Byakko. The final showdown of the night was about to comnmence. The troops' morale wasn't very high, but Ste lead the charge valiantly. It was a shaky fight, that had us all on edge. There were many close calls, and at the last 1-4% we actually had no tanks XD. BUT we perserved and accomplished this!

Under the Sea.... Under the Sea...

Oh Boy! My first ever Sea run!!! OMAGAD. To commemorate this grand occasion, I have composed this following poem!

So much to see, so much to do!
Everything looks so shiny and new.
My heart is a flutter, butterflies in my tummy
For a little bit though, I'll be a Sea Dummy.

Big bouncy balls, and four-winged angels.
Round spinny pots, with discs that will mangle.
Dolphins that follow you like a lady of the night.
And sharks that pop up and give you a fright.

Oh, I simply can't wait, what wonders I'll see.
My adventures just begun, at the bottom of the sea.

Anyways, todays run was as follows: First we'd pop and dispatch of the Jailer of Temperance and then try to pop Ix'Aern (DRK). It took us awhile to actually pop the damn Jailer, I think we went through about 4 placeholders. But we eventually got him :D. I didn't realize how big this muppet would be, but he was a big pot!

The fight went smoothly for the most part, only 1 death. Here's pics of our triumphs.

After that it was off to pop the Ix'Aern (DRK). Me, Aleyne and Keuifu were up to lot for the Altruistic Cape. Unfortunately after a bunch of kills and moving around, no one in the alliance had gotten the "Enveloped in Animosity" message. (Sad Panda)

G3 Escapades

Tonight was spent helping the fellow linkmember Wigs, on his 3rd of 5 quests for Maat. The infamous G3!!! And just for shits and giggles I'm gonna use this bullet function. So here goes!!

• Davoi - This place has always held a fascination with me, I don't really know why XD. When I was just a wee nooblet, I used to think that the highest level mobs in the game resided in this slummy dungeon. Today its just not the same, all the mobs are relatively weak considering. Still I don't mind punching some friggin orcs in the face. ^^ Overall this trip was ok.

• Castle Oztroja - I don't know why, but I really don't think too much about this place. I just looks like a giant mud/poop castle with a bunch of crazy birds inside. The only interesting place inside here is guarded by friggin annoying puzzles and passwords. (I absolutely HATE the three word password, seems the words are always the last ones on the list. >_<) Well we got to the Chamber of Doom and assasinated the Yagudo High Priest and Yagudo Templars. Oh and isn't there a law.... something that goes like.... the more you want something to drop, the least likely it is to drop. Well I remember awhile ago, Atlanray and I were up here farming a certain scroll for our BLM's. The elusive Scroll of Tornado. Well we wanted it really bad, and it ended up taking us 4-5 hours of farming to get us both a scroll. Well, guess what was the first thing to drop when we killed a Yagudo Prelate?! You got it... a Scroll of Tornado. We let Senseireborn lot on the scroll since he promised he'd use in on BLM. And if I find out he really sold it.... let's just say I'll be like :(.

• Beadeaux - What an icky, smelly cesspool! I don't really like this place at all, then again I don't really like quadav. We were pretty straight forward about this one. We killed a couple oozes in the hopes of an earring drop (to no avail) and continued deep into this STD riddled, puke pile. We were doing ok, until we found out Wigs hadn't brought Silent Oils, and we had to deal with an agro. Other than that we made it through, stomped a Ruby Quadav, and got Wigs his 3rd and final crest :)

All in all it was a fun conclusion to an otherwise mixed day. But who am I kidding, whenever Senseireborn and Jimma, Ste or Atlanray are involved, I'm sure to have a good time ;D.

Dynamis and Drama; A match made in Heaven.

Dramaz, Dramaz, Dramaz. Seems like every week, the crap piles up. What's the drama this week? Sblonde bending the rules. You see, according to the Dynamis Webpage and the rules, after someone is gone for more than 3 months, if they come back they are placed on a a 2 run probation in which they cannot lot AF or 100's. Well recently Ethan came back to the game with his 10 account RMTish squad. This was to be his 2nd run back. Well guess what. Sblonde called for him to lot Duelist's Tights on one of his duel-boxed accounts. Not only that but it was supposed to be Senseireborn's drop. As you can see, there might be a problem there. When asked why he as allowed to lot, the reply was simply, "Sometimes the rules don't apply."

Unfortunately there wasn't much that we could do at the time, and the pants dropped to Ethan's alt. To add insult to injury, Jimma AKA James was in a position to lot a Paladin drop from a zone awhile back, and was told he couldn't according to our shell's rules. They even went so far to say, "The rules are the rules, NO EXCEPTIONS".

Funny how this LS can be so two-faced.

Though I personally can't say this run was entirely bad. I did obtain my BLM relic feet I was hoping for :).

All in all a good run :D. Although, the ending isn't what I wanted :(

I'm generally pleased. Tonight's merit party resulted in this:



Ste also finally got Enfeebling Magic capped at 8/8. Shawn shouldn't be too far off either. They are both blossoming into fine Red Mages.

Next on my merit priority list is probably Counter Rate. Its currently sitting at 2/5. After I finish that BLM will probably be my next priority. Have to cap those potency increases ;3.

Tomorrow is Limbus and Dynamis-Jeuno. Will be hoping to get my BLM equip from there. I'm excited about Sunday. Sea in the morning, followed by Nyzul (C'mon Goliard Clooogs) followed by Sky. We're hoping to do at least 2 Byakko's in Sky and I'm first in line for Shura Pants.

The only bad thing about Sunday though.... Monday looms right around the corner ><;;; Ah yes... Jimma, the manliest man in Britain. Jimma AKA James is a hearty bloke with a heart of gold. Just want to congratulate the guy on 68 PLD tonight, he's almost there! He's training hard to become the Dynamis Shell's new main tank. Right now Paudritant is main tanking, and quite frankly, is not doing to well. Not to mention he's been having connection problems recently. :(

Personally I'd rather kill some Mamool's ATM, I have some of those awesome Marinara Pizza +1's and I'm dying to use them. Don't really want to lose them to birds though.

On another note, this weekends gonna be wierd without Atlanray. He's gonna miss Dynamis, Limbus, and Nyzul. :( Hope he has fun on his trip. Oh cool we have a BRD and a COR now >:3
